· 5 to 7 years related experience with
Datastage (including PX and Server), AIX, UDB EEE, and C++ including control
and development of standards.
· Experience and working knowledge of Clear
Case, Clear Quest, and Remedy.
· Mainframe experience beneficial.
· Significant knowledge of DataStage
Software Architecture and tools.
· MetaStage, ProfileStage QualityStage
preferred.
· Competent to work at highest level of all
technical phases while working on own most of the time.
· Excellent analytical, consultative,
communication skills, and report writing ability.
· Strong problem solving, analytical, and
interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively on multiple
tasks with competing priorities.

· Create new projects and associated data
directories on the DataStage Server Node.
· Manage space allocation and usage within
the DataStage filesystems.
· Tune the DataStage server processes.
· Identify, define, and establish technical
environment requirements (e.g., access to hardware, file access approvals).
· Provide consultation on DataStage best
practices to the project teams.
· Provide support including off-hour support
on DataStage issues.
· Work with other technical teams to set-up
and configure the DataStage environments.
· Interact with the vendor technical support
staff to resolve issues regarding the DataStage product suites.*
