Several factors involved with antenna decision.
1.  How much can you afford to spend?
2.  What kind of gain do you want?
3.  Space available for antennas?
3.  What environment will the antennas be in?
          Mountaintop vs. housetop
Ice/Wind/Temp extremes vs moderate weather (no ice, light winds)
5.  New or Used?
6.  Tuned to your frequency or from a near Commercial frequency.
7.  Radiation pattern?  Omni, Cardioid, directional.
      If mountaintop amount of downtilt?

Here are some antenna suggestions, from Industrial to Amateur grade.
Celwave, Phelps-Dodge, Antenex, Motorola, Diamond, Comet, Hustler
No offense to any brand left out.

Subject: Repeater antennas?

What would be the best commercial antenna to use as a repeater
antenna? I will be needing to buy at least 2 UHF (440) 2 VHF (2mtr)
antennas for the repeater I'm building.

Hope I can find them at a good price.
