I would not do less then 4 cans you will have problems .. I would hate to see you blow your reciver up because you where getting into it with your TX ...
go to a local 2 way shop and pick up another can ... if you where around here I have 4 spares .. ( yes another duplexer ) we could work somehing out .. so the long and the short find another can and save your equipment > At the moment I am testing a 2m 4 can duplexer with a 25 watt > transmitter and all is fine. > > I wish to remove one of the cans in the duplexer and use it for > another purpose (part of another duplexer actually) > > If I lose a can from the tx arm can I "clean up" the transmitter with > (say) a 120w solidstate amp followed by a high power 6dB pad? > > has anybody in the group tried this? > > Ian > G8PWE > > > Rick Szajkowski VA3 RZS Charlotte Darby VA3 CMR Node Owners of IRLP Node 2120 Lakefield Ont Canada Your use of Yahoo!
