And I've used 9913 on a garage repeater with good results before. But you
and I are the exception rather than the rule. I'd never use it on something
more critical.

For the 40' run in question, a surplus piece of 1/2" Heliax and two
connectors salvaged from a two way shop or picked up on eBay would have been
cheaper than buying the LMR 400 in the first place.
