You may get this to work if you are the only source of RF in the vicinity, however if you have other cabinets of equipment creating anything that contains RF, you will be in need of shielding - double shielding that is. Regarding aluminum feedline construction, if you take all the precautions to keep the temperature, humidity and mechanical alignment constant it has been proven to work but in most cases the added expense of lifting/support fingers and all the brackets needed to use the product surpass the cost of using something designed for the project. In theory you can pull a 25 foot travel trailer with a 45 horsepower Volkswagen beetle, however adding the extra gearbox - springs - generator for lighting equipment - tires - brakes - mirrors and anything else I may have forgotten make it less costly to use a vehicle more suited to the job from the beginning.
