Brent and Bob, I have been looking for 45g for about 8 months now - it
is a tough find. As you may know Rohn is in some form of bancrupcy, it
is because of failed monopole stuff not the 45g you are seeking, this
makes it about impossible to find any new stuff. There wasn't much 45 or
55 made as the demand was very low, it seemed besides the ham market
which is always trying to get the stuff for next to nuthing the
commercial market saw little demand for that product line as the smart
thing for them was put up better iron and gain more revenue with a
stronger structure than what hams find effective, we can walk away and
try that distant station some other day, the commercial market must have
that station right now whether mobile, portable or whatever the case may
be or else it needs to go to the public and get another bond issue
passed for improvementsto something that almost works and will have to
be dismanteld and rebuilt while a substitute system is built until the
first one that couldn't can be completed.
