Funny you should mention Regency. My nickname for them has always been "re-junk-cy."
And while we're bashing different manufacturers of repeater equipment, there's at least one controller out there that is a real dog. Been several revisions to it, but it stays a dog. Need we go on about antennas. Some real scrap aluminum and fiberglass out there. Yet people continue to use these products and are happy with them. I guess to each their own.
