Hi Guys: Does anyone have any use for some very small (SO-8 SMT) power MOSFETS? I have a couple hundred left over from a commercial project I designed and sold.
Mouser sells them for US$ 0.63 each in lots of 500, but I will let them go for US$ 0.50 each in any quantity you want. I use 3 of them in my repeater for controlling my CTCSS relays and driving some lights.....ya, a real waste, but I have them :) Here is the data sheet for them: http://www.sentex.net/tedds_place/71105.pdf If you haven't ever used MOSFETS for anything, you should give them a try. When switched on (over 1 volt on the GATE) the ON resistance between the Drain and Source is less than 0.1 Ohm. This equates to very little heat dissipation at full rated current.
