You have to remember that PL (or DPL) doesn't solve interference issues, it just covers them up. Sure, the RX won't unsquelch if it is requiring a tone but the interference is still on the channel so what improvement have you really gained? You add PL to keep your system free of users of other repeaters whose coverage overlaps yours. >could this be coming from my power supply ?
