I am looking for a single folded dipole that I can mount to the side of my repeater tower for an APRS IGate and digi. Anyone have anything kicking around that is inexpensive and can be packaged for shipping?
I am also interested in information on how I can build a dipole or folded dipole myself that's suitable for repeater use. I.e. I noticed severe degration of the solder joint on my copper J-pole after it has been used for my IRLP node. So I've been staying away from playing with a soldered copper dipole.
