Brad, I can't speak to the repeater, but I can comment on the Sinclair Q2220E duplexer. I acquired one of these units a year or so ago, and promptly sold it at a loss because of its mediocre performance. It certainly meets the specifications, but those specs are simply not high enough for a good repeater. A typical repeater that has a 50 watt transmitter and a 0.35 uV receiver generally needs a duplexer with 85 or 90 dB of isolation. A 100 watt repeater with a 0.18 uV receiver needs 95 to 100 dB of isolation. These are ballpark figures, and assume no more than 1 dB of receive degradation. Naturally, some repeater owners are satisfied with much less isolation.
If you are duplexing a 10 watt transmitter and a 0.50 uV receiver, you might be able to live with 70 dB of isolation, and be perfectly happy with it. Good luck!
