We are useing for HT's MTX, GTX's mostly. For mobiles lots of Maxtrac's they also make a great link radio if you get the ones with the 16 pin jack on the back. You can program and pick every thing off the back. We also have Sprectra's for all the control opp's. There are also GTX mobiles on our system. All of the above are programable. Some of the guys have Johnson and Kenwood radio's.
All of the Motorola stuff is 2.5 KHZ not 5 KHZ keep this in Mind when mixing with radio's from a band like 440 or two meters. We are going to be playing with that this week end.
We are keeping every thing on the 927 Ham band at 2.5 so that every one does not have to convert evey mobile and HT to 5 KHZ. Are repeaters and links are all 2.5 on 900 MHZ.
Good luck. We just love 900 a fun place to play!
If you need a sore for 900 radio's let me know,

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] 900Mhz info???

What is out there for hamband capable 900Mhz portable radios???  Preferably rock bound but low standby synthesized would do.

I would like to move a link from 440 to 900 but the mountain top site does not have a lot of excess power available.

The existing link radio is an Motorola HT90.  It works great but we are getting some intermittent interference on the 441 link frequency so considering moving to 900 as a possible solution...

Thanks...
