Although thoroughly tested on commercial antennas, the Static Buster 
will work on Diamond and Comet antennas as well.  I have suggested their 
use to several folks that have bought, tried, and have proven they work 
on these cheaper antennas too.  You do have to provide some DC path 
which has been accomplished by soldering a 100K resistor the the top 
element and then running a wire to the static buster mounted on the 
top.  You see, these cheaper antennas don't actually have continuity to 
the metallic cap on the top like the stationmaster, sinclair, and other 
commercial types do, and this modification accomplishes that.
