I suggest running 2 MASTR-II 110W power blocks in phase with a combiner network on the input and output. This would give 200-250W output with about .5 - 1W in.
My current single block on the continuous duty heat sink gives an honest 150W at the moment so this may also be enough for your needs. I recently had to replace it because my Tripplite PR-40 went mid-evil on the first block I was running so I transplanted a mobile block into the repeater chassis. The problem is you will need 13.8 volts at about 50 amps minimum for the supply to run 2. You can float a Deep Cycle battery across an Astron 7, 12 or 20 as a make shift "Big Ass Capacitor" which will work as long as you don't have 100% duty cycle use on the repeater. You would kill the battery in about 1 1/2 hours constant key down and it would take about 8 to recharge with the Astron 20. But if this doesn't bother you... The project is cost effective. MASTR-II series mobile radios can be had for Free to $50 depending on where you are. and the Exec-II uses the same power block for the 110W version. Batterys are approx $60 at Wal-Mart. If you do not have a Astron, you can try using an old switch mode supply from a computer but the noise generated may not be desireable.
