wouldn't be at the end of a transmission if it were done right.

The person using the remote base would ID themselves, but is that a 
valid ID for the remote base?  Ahh well, I don't want to start that here 
on the list, for sure.  Please - no one bother to answer that.  I'll go 
read up.  No one seems to be too interested in remote-base type 
operation around here anyway... it does seem to be popular in some 
places though, from reading along on the list.

Just out of curiosity and because it's more on-topic - how many people 
have RB's of some sort on their repeater systems on the list, and to 
which band(s)?
