Good morning all,
We had one of the TE systems amps on a 440 link pair (100 watt) for about 5
years. It was a very long link path 49 miles. We still have the amp it is
now in service on our Upper Pottsgrove 440 repeater and has been for about
two years. It has blowers and has never failed.
Our long link is now on 1296 and we have even talked of up-dating that link
to 900 MHz. With all the high power paging stuff around these days. All of
our new repeater amps for 147,222,440 and 927 on the Metro-Comm network are
all Crescend. in fact all of our repeater but one use Cresend repeater amps.
We even have three 50 watters on the 3 GMRS repeaters I own. But I would buy
a TE systems again they work very well at least the one we have. Now I have
never had to send it back for any thing. Many years of service and not one
failure.
Good luck!

Trustee, Metro-Comm, INC.
W3PS repeater system.
