...except that the control board will sense the increased current draw, 
send an alarm, and probably shut down the transmitter.
But yes, I've seen those things make well over 400W without breathing 
too hard. You just don't want to do it for very long...
Also, since the driver is the same board as the PA's, you can take the 
output of the driver direct and get 60-80W, but again, to keep it in 
it's normal ratings, 50-55W is where to set it. Actually, you're looking 
for current draw-each board should draw no more than about 7.5-8A at 24-26V.
We maintain about 80+ of those-well, they all say Glenayre. Nice boxes! 
They just run...100% transmit, 24/7/365.
(they go to 925 Mhz or so REAL well, too!)
(ps-anybody have programming info for  the older exciters and RL-900 
rx's???)
