I believe so ... 

  During the earlier days of 146.76 MHz simplex activity in the Los 
 Angeles area, one of the guys worked for a TV station which had a 
 Mt. Wilson transmitter site (5700' AMSL) ... 

  He would transmit 146.76 MHz from the Mt. Wilson site and receive 
 146.76 MHz at his home on an antenna that notched out the 
 transmitter site = simplex (or on-frequency) repeater.
