You can be pretty sure if you see a message from "russ" - he's either
beating the drum for Maggiore or Cook - OR - coming up with some off
the wall remark like the availability of flat pack mobile duplexers
that do 400 KHz repeater spacing on VHF. Not sure what sort of
alternate reality he's living in.
