Each cable will have a differant loss and it is higher as you go up in frequency. Don't worry about being very accurate on the frequency. For example if you are going to use 144 mhz and they give 150 mhz or you use 440 and they give 450 mhz you will be close enough. The numbers are for either 100 feet or 100 meters. Still close enough. If the coax is given as 3 db per 100 feet , you can devide or multiply to get larger numbers of feet used. If you use 50 feet you egt 1.5 db loss and if you go to 200 feet you will get 6 db of loss. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
