Well,
10 watts is not much of a repeater! I run GE MastrII's which have run 
110 watts for over 26 years and I dont need any fans. I dont need two 
radios.I know the receiver front end wont get swamped and the PA wont 
overheat and go spurious and I paid less for my repeater than you paid 
for one radio. I have put up over 300 repeaters over the last 35 years 
and I know from experience what will work ok,and what will work in harsh 
conditions under heavy use when it really counts. I'd put a properly set 
up Micor or MastrII up against any Kenwood mobile,any day.   73,Lee,N3APP
