Had something similar the other day in workshop. Hooked repeater up
to dummy load and it went away. Back on antenna and pulses
reappeared. Found a Bearcat scanner was in scan mode producing a series of
pulses near repeater frequency seen on spectrum analyzer. Turned scanner
off and pulse noise went away. Got a scanner in your service van or one in the
repeater shack? Or a neighbor have one hooked up to an outdoor antenna?
They can be quite a signal generator.
