Hi Matthew,
The PWRgate 40 is spec'd at 0.4 VDC drop so 13.6 to 12.6 does
seem quite high.
How many amps are you pulling through it when you see the 13.6
to 12.6 VDC drop?
I have a Samlex supply using Schottky diodes internally
and I don't drop near that much.
I assume you're using the PWRgate 40 to prevent the batteries
from backfeeding and destroying the regulator in the Astron during AC
failures. Is that correct?
