Nope.  I've seen a mod to alter the output voltage but you also have 
to adjust their crowbar.
If you don't disconnect or adjust the crowbar, then that could be a 
big problem.

Anything with a sense input will work, just connect the sense input 
to the battery, and put a diode between the supply and the battery.
