One trick I saw done was to take a male-to-make adapter
and a female-to-female adapter and screw them together.
Put this set on the end of the each of the existing too-short
harness segments, and try the tuning. It may be enough.
If not, put another set on the other end of each cable.
A bunch of adapters is something you can try before you
order a new harness.
