With the 80 Going into
the Duplexer I get about 62 Watts at out at the Ant
I would like to see about 100 Watts at the Ant
some people do not read at all ..
I think if you up the power and do get 39 more watts to the ant that
could make a verry big difference
what ant are you use'n ? whats its gain ? .. if you have a 3 db gain
and and up your OUTPUT power out of the duplexer lets say 40
watts @ 3db gain .. you would be pushing another 80 watts out .. if
you look at it this way ..
now what about your ant ? .. if its an omni then you can't do much
execpt maybe get some more hight if its a 1,2,4 bay ant try to move
it more to the mill
or try use'n a better coax .. you are really only telling us one part of
the system .. and there are really 5 in your tx line .. repeater(exciter)
PA, duplexer,feed line,and Ant
Let us know ther rest of the chain ... and yes you should not run a
PA at 100% .. it will kill the unit sooner then later
