Gervais,

On the Motorola power supply I think you really have TPN1110B not 
8.  These are very good rack mount supplies using in Motorola 110 
watt continous duty repeaters/base stations.

They put out 3 voltages.  On the rear terminals is the high current 
25 amp continous 13-15 volts.  This is from a fara resonant(?) part 
of supply which is not very well regulated.  It is very clean and at 
load will drop to maybe 13-14 volts.  The other 2 voltage are on the 
cable with connector.  They are 9.6 and 13.8 V linear regulated.  
The 9.6 V was for most of the low power stuff such as exciter, 
receiver etc.  The 13.8 was used in places such as spearker drivers.

These supplies are excellent for repeaters.  Better than Astron 
although they make excellent supplies also.  Just for repeater use 
must be derated.  AS20 good to maybe 12 A continous and don't care 
what Aston says, hi.

I have a number of the TPN1110Bs and don't pass them up at hamfest 
for $50. in mint condx.
