Jim,

I'm quite familiar with the MTR2000, and have five of them in service.

Since the rogue signal is received during the hang time, it must have a 94.8 Hz
PL tone on it.  Unless... are you certain that your repeater was not left in
carrier squelch during testing?

Another possible cause is an incorrect repeater set-up.  Read the station's
codeplug.  Then,

1.  Click on "Personality" in the toolbar
2.  Click on "Channel Information" in the drop-down menu
3.  Click on "Repeater" in the Option window
4.  Select "Carrier & PL/DPL" for BOTH Analog Activation and Analog Hold-in
5.  Select "Off" for Analog Deactivation

If the above steps do not alter the symptoms, please send me your *.pcf file for
examination.
