Obviously you're not in SoCal with than odd 10 kHz digit, but TASMA 
recommends 4.2 kHz total peak deviation.  While this is lower than 
necessary for a 20 kHz band plan, it will make life easier should we ever 
move to 15 kHz in the 145 MHz sub band.
