Skipp, The i20R is nothing more than a no-frills 10-user community tone panel. It works as advertised, except that it neither generates nor responds to reverse burst squelch-tail elimination phase shifts, which the single-user R1225 controller does well. Neither it nor the R1225 built-in controller has telephone interconnect.

The I50R adds telephone interconnect. I like the pretty led lights flashing on the I20R when you program it... I haven't had to mess around with the internal R1225 controller much... does it do multiple user community repeater tone panel type operation very well? I don't believe it has telephone interconnect? skipp ps: the manual for the I50R is on my sonic web page. > "Eric Lemmon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Chris, > I have several R1225 repeaters in service, both VHF and UHF.
