Sorry, it appears that the page has been modified to only show one zipcode.. you used to be able to zoom out and populate the map. Doesn't appear to be true any longer... the link is in the left-hand column.. 73 Mike Perryman www.k5jmp.us

I live just South of Washington DC. We have probably the highest per-capita density of hams in the nation. You should be around for a VHF and above contest weekend... tough to find a spot operate!! Check this out..<http://www.vanityhq.com/maps/enterzip.html > plug in 22556 for a zip, and zoom out. I really wanted a 500kHz split so that I could use the heliax-duplexer approach.. doggone REAL duplexer for 6m is pretty pricey. It also served as a good learning experience. There are a few pairs available.. but most are odd-ball splits etc... 2m pairs are non-existent, and 70cm pairs are extremely rare as well. 222MHz machines are popping-up all over the place. Many have expressed intrest in the 1200MHz D-Star gear, but it is cost-prohibitive at this point. One of the reasons I asked BobM about his 900MHz conversions.... 73 Mike Perryman www.k5jmp.us -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Bob Dengler Sent: Monday, February 13, 2006 1:14 PM To: [email protected] Subject: 6 meter pairs (was RE: [Repeater-Builder] UHF Power) At 2/12/2006 06:44 PM, you wrote: >I had to produce a ton of studies for my 6m pair. I based my studies on Sounds as if you actually had trouble finding a clear 6 meter pair. Here in SoCal we have many vacant pairs on 6; is 6 really that popular in your area? Bob NO6B Yahoo!
