I think you are all right. I believe the standard GR500 was with two
mobiles and what ever interface option was ordered with it(R.I.C.K., 
etc). The GR500 ordered with the X-Pand option, came with the R1225. 
I may be wrong. 
I have a VHF GR1225 that looks like a standard GR desktop cabinet 
with the power supply, fan and duplexer.
