I hope you're able to keep your receiver-only radios in that pile
running with no PTT activity... ever. ;-)
(Assuming you are - how'd you do THAT?! Does Kenwood now have a "if
I've received something, stay on and reset the timer" mode, or are you
saying that no matter what the activity level, both your TX and RX in
your mini-repeater turns off after X number of minutes?)
