Also (a side comment, hopefully helpful), do NOT replace "sig gen" in 
Jeff's comments with a higher power transmitter.

When just starting out, the "safety rule" is, "Do NOT tune any duplexer 
using high power, ever."

(Posted knowing that those hams without the proper test gear, sometimes 
improvise... and "sig gen" is a conspicuously easy idea to replace with 
"any transmitter" in most folks heads.

If you HAVE to go there, pad it down to what a signal generator would 
put out. "Sig gen" should not ever be replaced with "transmitter" in 
this instruction set.)

Bad juju awaits, if you go down that path.
