Does anyone know the best way to set up the "Z-matcher" unit in a GE
Mastr 2 continuous duty PA (I have 3- 110w uhf PA's for a 200watt UHF
station)? I follow the service manual and do not get the results I
should be getting. With proper drive power, adjust the two variable
caps for minimum voltage at test point 1 which is on the matching unit
into a dummy load, is the way the book is telling me. Tune for minimum
voltage, but I am not getting full power out. Should I be tuning for
max power with the least voltage or am I doing something else wrong.
