The jumper called JU551 is the one that controls
whether you get flat or de-emphasized/muted audio on
the accessory connector. It's location varies and
depends on the radio.

MaxTracs and GM300s use different boards, so it
matters which one you have.

If you open the radio and get us the HLN number off
the logic board (the one on the bottom, with the
accessory connector on it), we can get a lot more
specific.

Meanwhile, if it IS a MaxTrac, there's (more than)
plenty of info on www.repeater-builder.com
