Hi,
if you want a simplex repeater there are two units I know of to
do the job.One is manufactured by MFJ and the other by Radio
Shack. They both function by recording about 30 seconds of audio from
the reciever audio jack-socket and then re-transmitting it via the
mic. socket.Runs of PP3(British designation)9v or external
supply. Will support ground-loop or current sink keying, but has no
c.w i.d. or bells and whistles. Some of the digital storage audio
chips used in these devices and similar would enable you to add
these features if desired.Size is slightly less than a cigarette
packetAny help?
