Look at <http://secure.transtronics.com/EPROM%20Programmer.html> - this is
the old Intronics pocket programmer updated for USB, and the software fixed to
run under W2K and XP.

Might do what you need.

The last time I needed to program a bipolar PROM I wired up a 24-pin socket to
a narrow plug and used the first 32 bytes of a 2732.  A waste, I 
know, but it was
sunday morning and it had to be up and running by monday morning.  And besides,
there was a metal cover over it and nobody knew but me...
