This is the low-band Mitrek manual, but the control head and cable are
identical to the UHF model.  Simply go to page 60 of the 66-page PDF
document, and use the Adobe Reader "snapshot" tool to select and print the
cable hookup diagram.

The Mitrek UHF service manual is still in print, should you choose to
purchase a copy, and can be ordered from Motorola Parts.  It is Part Number
6881045E75, and costs about US$ 30.

        ok, I have a motorola mitrek UHF converted to the ham band. I have
the 
        control cable attach and I attach a local speaker to the green and 
        orange wires then I apply power... 
        
        I should be able to hear the squelch/noise and hear myself in the 
        speaker, but that is my problem, I do not hear anything nothing is 
        comming out,, my question is how do I start troubleshooting this to 
        find out what is wrong and how to fix this???
