[Repeater-Builder] Narrowbanding

Has anyone narrowbanded a Mitrek, MastrII, or Johnson PPL6060 with 
Com-Spec's narrowband filter kits?  Is it really worth doing?

$25 per radio is $25 I could use elsewhere, if not.
