Was wondering if anyone knew of a way to tell a MSF500 CXB station when the main power failed and a UPS kicked in (External dry contact closure fro mthe UPS is available) ? Our units (VHF And UHF Repeaters) do not have a battery revert option in the power supply so we used a UPS/Generator combo for emergency power. The UPS Carries for about 5 minutes before the generator kicks in (200KW at the site), Just want to drop the output power for the 5 minutes to make sure the UPS will carry it through or if the generator fails to start I would know from the low power beep. Thanks for any help or info.
