You may find it works OK on 2 meters. Probably not good enough for a repeater though. There has been discussions here before about extending the elements and building new harnesses. The harness is made up of 75 ohm and 35 ohm Vaporlock weather proof coax cut to multiples of 1/4 wavelength.
