Your cable is bad? Are you using a VPL-1 or something else? If it's a VPL-1
then which half is bad? The PC cable or the radio adapter? Lastly, are
you sure it's the cable? If you are trying to read a VX-4000FIELD radio
with standard VX-4000 software it won't read it, you have to have VX4000FIELD
software for those. Just a few thoughts.
