Was this in the Tait station you mentioned? I ask because I think this is not a repeater controller, but a tone or DC remote panel. SSC did make various remotes, not sure if they're still around or not. And I remember 836AA was one of their model numbers for either a tone or DC remote. -- Jim Barbour WD8CHL
