Nope-it's just a newer version of the TS-32 CTCSS decoder. It is NOT a controller of any kind. It can be used to drive a circuit that keys the transmitter and provides TOT and hang-time. And you're right, GMRS repeaters don't HAVE to have an ID'er, but it's a pretty good idea. -- Jim Barbour WD8CHL
