So we're talking a 5 element 30MHz bw yagi. I have some really well made units by Antenex with part numbers like YNT-4305 but that's the 430-450MHz model. I would think the part number is something like YNT-4405 for the 440-470 model.
Trouble is I just took a look at their Web Site and they were bought out by Laird, which means the products have changed a bit. At first glance it appears they are no longer using the truely wide band folded dipole driven element of the "YNT" models and all I see are more traditional driven element designs. It's my opinion the bandwidth of the more traditional DE Feeds are not as wide (bw) as the earlier folded dipole versions I have here. But a friend told me that Antenex (note there's also an another company with a similar name, but not the company I'm talking about in this post) is/was happy to make custom antennas so you might give them a call after looking at their web site. Ask them for a yagi with a 450 center frequency and a 30MHz band width. Who knows, you might get lucky... cheers, skipp > Paul Metzger <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello all, > > I know this is a bit of an odd to ask here.
