It is possible, but at mobile duplexer power limits of 50 watts I do not think 
you would cause damage if done for short period of time.  Of course about all 
txs have swr protection shutting down the power if it sees something it does 
not like.

You can damage a duplexer if running the power in the recv port that is setup 
to notch or reject the tx.  This could mean the duplexer thru its couplers 
absorbing the power.  If high, say 250 W this might cause a problem.

I really think you would most likly damage the tx before the duplexer.
