Often temps for temp stablization are higher than what is expected in the 
enviorment of the radio/unit.  Some use temps as high as 140 deg F and some 
even higher.  Since most time one would not expect the enviorment to go higher 
than 140 so they artifically keep it this high.  Otherwise cooling would be 
required, hi.
