Thanks George! I'm not sure if these are mid split or not. I know the TX frequencies are in the 160Mhz range that i've tested already. Do you know how to determine the split from the chassis number? Do you have the parts list or know where I can find one?
Thanks for the help! The parts list is a good reference for how much, and where, to add padding caps if needed. If it's a high split, don't bother... you can pick up a mid-split on E-Bay for $15 or less. (ALWAYS ask for the stamped chassis number or current crystal frequency before bidding!) > > George, KA3HSW / WQGJ413 > > -----Original Message----- > >From: David Wagner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >Sent: Jul 30, 2007 11:20 AM > >To: [email protected] > >Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Motorola Maxar 80 > > > >I noticed some information in the archives on the Motorola Maxar 80, but no > >links to any helpful sites. > > > > > > > >Has anyone successfully converted these to the 2M band?
