I finally got it working. I went back to a known good codeplug. Then, I changed it to a clamshell control head. It would then transmit, but on wrong channel. I deleted all but Mode 1. It works!
It also transmits PL. It seems from reading back through old posts that some have had trouble getting PL with no control head. Oh, well. Mine works. I have added a mod to stop PL from being transmitted at times. When, you listen to another receiver it goes boing softly. Nothings perfect. Scott, thanks for the help. I guess sometimes it helps to have someone tell you that you are doing all the right things.
